A fast subspace method for image deblurring

چکیده
Image deblurring problems appear frequently in astronomical image analysis. For image deblurring problems, it is reasonable to add a non-negativity constraint because of the physical meaning of the image. Previous research works are mainly full-space methods, i.e., solving a regularized optimization problem in a full space. To solve the problem more efficiently, we propose a subspace method. We first formulate the problem from full space to subspace and then use an interior-point trust-region method to solve it. The numerical experiments show that this method is suitable for ill-posed image deblurring problems. 2009 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

A Cascadic Alternating Krylov Subspace Image Restoration Method
This paper describes a cascadic image restoration method which at each level applies a two-way alternating denoising and deblurring procedure. Denoising is carried out with a wavelet transform, which also provides an estimate of the noise-level. The latter is used to determine a suitable regularization parameter for the Krylov subspace iterative deblurring method. The cascadic multilevel method...
متن کاملFast Non-uniform Deblurring using Constrained Camera Pose Subspace
where Kθ is the matrix that warps latent image L to the transformed copy at a sampled pose θ and S denotes the set of sampled camera poses. While these algorithms show promising results, they entail high computational cost as the high-dimensional camera motion space and the latent image have to be computed during the iterative optimization procedures. In this paper, we propose a fast single-ima...
متن کاملImage Deblurring with Krylov Subspace Methods
Image deblurring, i.e., reconstruction of a sharper image from a blurred and noisy one, involves the solution of a large and very ill-conditioned system of linear equations, and regularization is needed in order to compute a stable solution. Krylov subspace methods are often ideally suited for this task: their iterative nature is a natural way to handle such largescale problems, and the underly...
متن کاملA novel framework method for non-blind deconvolution using subspace images priors
Non-blind deconvolution has been an active challenge in the research fields of computer vision and computational photography. However, most existing deblurring methods conduct direct deconvolution only on the degraded image and are sensitive to noise. To enhance the performance of non-blind deconvolution, we propose a novel framework method by exploiting different sparse priors of subspace imag...
متن کاملAlternating Krylov subspace image restoration methods
Alternating methods for image deblurring and denoising have recently received considerable attention. The simplest of these methods are two-way methods that restore contaminated images by alternating between deblurring and denoising. This paper describes Krylov subspace-based two-way alternating iterative methods that allow the application of regularization operators different from the identity...
